Development of new features
Our team has developed the necessary features to ensure that both See Tickets itself and its customers comply with the GDPR obligations. See Tickets has built a feature to process and protect fans’ personal information in the event of requests, such as information about GDPR, rectification and deletion of information. This function offers the possibility to anonymize data if the ticket buyer, fan or consumer so wishes.
This is an important part of the GDPR legislation, also known as “the right to be forgotten”. Fan requests can be forwarded to our Customer Service . By using the Pay logic platform, the consumer’s personal information is securely stored and accessible to the customers via the Back Office. This information can be modified by the customer and automatically deleted after a certain time.
Custom processor agreement
See Tickets is the data processor and the event organizer is the data manager. According to the AVG/GDPR, strict rules must be observed with regard to data protection. Our updated processor agreement describes the privacy obligations and conditions for See Tickets and you, in order to comply with the requirements of the GDPR.
Updated Privacy Policy
We have updated our privacy policy so that your fans can now see how See Tickets collects, uses and protects data on behalf of the event organization. You can find our new privacy policy on our website .
Measures by partners and suppliers
We are currently evaluating the extent to which our partners and suppliers have taken steps to comply with the GDPR. This can result in a similar (sub) data processing agreement according to the guidelines of the GDPR.
Revised security measures and protocols
See Tickets guarantees that, in accordance with the privacy legislation and guidelines of the competent authority, a data breach procedure has been established to adequately assess any data breaches of personal data. In the event of a data breach, See Tickets – under the conditions set by the GDPR – will inform the event organizer as well as the competent authority and/or fans. This is the case when the breach causes a significant risk to the data subject with regard to fundamental rights to privacy.
